RADIOLOGY AID FOUNDATION (RAF) AT A GLANCE
Reaching out a distant dream, to alleviate the burden of patients at the Department of Radiology, Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre Karachi,
Pakistan, some concerned citizens, doctors and volunteers joined hands to form Radiology Aid Foundation. The foundation is a registered, non-profit,
non-government, non-political, non-religious organization which came into existence on 25th August 2000.
It remains committed to the task of uplifting the existing radiology department of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre with a full spectrum of radiological
services to provide services to the underprivileged patients visiting this center from all over the country.
In the year 2000, RAF started with one ultrasound unit, two doctors and 2 technicians. At present our staff comprises of 68 doctors, among whom 06 are
Fellow Consultant Radiologists, 25 technicians, and other staff members. The aim is to provide the best quality service with the available resources.
